29th August 2009 Windsurfing: Hove Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: Session time = 11.30-1.30 Surf / Sea State: LT@11.30am Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: A good forecast but not the most enjoyable of sessions. Wind went mental and an unforeseen bout of man flu meant I was feeling less than 100%. A couple of loops at the start of the session was as good as it got. Should have changed down to 4.0 as the wind ramped up but by then I was feeling crap so I packed up. And spent the rest of the afternoon in bed. :( It's strange how the days you look forward to the most so often disappoint. |
